Organized...ahhhh :)

I have been meaning to clean out the hall closet in our house for a LOOOONNNG time and today I did it.  It is so nice to wrangle the art supplies, extra batteries, tape, light bulbs, homeschool stuff etc and not have it fall out on top of you when you open the door!

I also got all of the summer clothes out of Will and Allie's closet and sorted through their fall/winter clothes.  Now you can actually get in and out of the closet without tripping over piles of mess!

Hooray for the little things :)

Halloween 2011

Don't faint...I know it has been since March, but I am back...for how long, I don't know, but for now, I am back.

This year I read about this brilliant way of bypassing the weeks of candy, fits, highs and crashes that comes with buckets of Halloween plunder.  This Post introduced me to the Pumpkin Fairy.  We have enjoyed the Pumpkin Fairy.  She has been the topic of many problem solving conversations, i.e.  How does the Pumpkin Fairy turn the candy into  money?

This is what the Pumpkin Fairy brought this year.  We look forward to many more years with her!

fall

It is fall here and the days are gorgeous!  My rose bushes are blooming like crazy, the leaves are starting to turn, and the air feels clear, clean, and crisp.

I am still in a motivation rut and can't get myself to get excited about doing much of anything...I think part of it is the impending move.  I don't want to get started on anything that I can't finish in a few hours because I have to keep everything picked up until we move, but there is no "home" for projects.  I also need more sleep...I have gotten in a bad habit of taking Will to school and then coming home and taking a long nap...then I can't go to sleep at night and the vicious cycle begins again...so no more naps :/

I am going to pack up the office this week and get laundry finished.  I think that will be a great accomplishment and will make me feel a little better about my never-ending "to do" list!

My study goals for this week are to begin a study on joy and continue the Frazzled Female study...I don't think I am so much frazzled as a mix between depressed and lethargic....but it has been a pretty good study so far.  I had done it before, but started it up again with a friend, so I am finding new things that I didn't see last time.

OK, so blah blah blah...no more moaning and groaning...let's get on with living the abundant life that I have been missing lately!!  Seize the day!

MISSING:

MISSING: my motivation
Last seen - oh long LONG ago

So I know I have been out of the blogosphere for quite a while, but today I decided to get with it and post an entry.

There has been a lot happening around here.  Will started Kindergarten, we are moving soon, Josh has his own firm with an associate from his old job, Allie and I are doing pre-k at home to go with her 2 days a week that she is gone to day school, and I am still working on grad school...slowly but surely.

I have been really having a hard time getting motivated to do much of anything, so this weekend is the start of energetic me...working out, cleaning house, sewing projects...watch out!

Here are a few pictures to fill the bloggy gap from previous post until now :)
